Waiting For God<\/p>\n
Deep, deep in the woods was a cabin.
\nSomeone was yelling, like a mad hen.
\nThe wife of the woodsman wanted out.
\nShe was sick of the isolation and trout.
\nOccasionally, they would have deer.
\nThere was plenty of homemade beer.
\nThey made their living off the land.
\nThey were totally off the grid of man.
\nEverything they had, they made themselves.
\nNothing was made by any Keebler elves.
\nThey had two kids who were home schooled.
\nThey were smart enough to never be fooled.
\nThe daughter never had suitors come around.
\nClifton Clower\u2019s daughter would be easier found.
\nThe son never dated nor saw a female.
\nThough he knew about them in every detail.
\nThe mom was yelling that it was time to go.
\nThe children needed others to be in the know.
\nThey had strong religious beliefs about the end.
\nFor these reasons the husband would not bend.
\nHe believed in keeping away from the worldly sins.
\nA time of trouble like no other is ready to begin.
\nWe must trust one hundred percent on the Lord.
\nWe could yet be attacked by ugly hoards.
\nOnce it is over and the day of the Lord has come.
\nWe will be with Jesus. We won\u2019t be the only ones.
\nSo, they settled down for their evening meal.
\nEach person prayed and told how they feel.
\nThey asked forgiveness for any sin.
\nOne day closer to a world without end.<\/p>\n
