The time of day said it\u2019s time to play.
\nI am hoping all will go okay.
\nShe will be in the park about now.
\nI have to try to meet her somehow.
\nYou would think I would come up with a plan.
\nNothing seemed right, but I must be the man.
\nI said: \u201cHi, haven\u2019t I seen you here before?\u201d
\n\u201cProbably. I come here often to explore.\u201d
\n\u201cI know this park like the back of my hand.\u201d
\n\u201cI would be happy to help you, if I can.\u201d
\n\u201cMy name is Bob. What is yours?\u201d
\n\u201cMine is Phenelope. Penny for short.\u201d
\n\u201cI like that. It sounds high fashion.\u201d
\n\u201cYou can go to the head of the class then.\u201d
\nShe smiled when I laughed at that.
\nShe said: \u201cI hope I don\u2019t smell a rat.\u201d
\n\u2018What do you mean by that?\u201d
\n\u201cIf you\u2019re up to no good, you\u2019ll get zapped.\u201d
\n\u201cI have pepper spray here in my purse.\u201d
\n\u201cGod sakes, no!! Don\u2019t make me curse.\u201d
\n\u201cI can\u2019t be taking chances these days.\u201d
\n\u201cI know what you mean. I am Amazed.\u201d
\n\u201cAmazed about what, may I ask.\u201d
\n\u201cThat you didn\u2019t think I was making a pass.\u201d
\n\u201cWhat? You were making a pass?\u201d
\n\u201cI won\u2019t admit it now, my dear lass.\u201d
\nThey both laughed about that.
\nThey spent the afternoon exploring the paths.
\nThey talked and got better acquainted.
\nHe felt like he had been anointed.
\nCovered by her sweet tenderness.
\nShe relaxed. Nothing seemed to be amiss.
\nThey made a date to meet again the next day.
\nHe felt something good was coming his way.<\/p>\n
