\nI don\u2019t know if it\u2019s the clothes you wear.
\nOr, maybe the way you comb your hair.
\nWhatever it is, I\u2019m on the line to stay.
\nI wouldn\u2019t want it any other way.
\nI wish that line worked both ways.
\nI would reel you in to stay.
\nI act out at a party when you are there.
\nYou don\u2019t look or laugh. You just don\u2019t care.
\nI have to put on a new disguise.
\nBeing the class clown is not very wise.
\nThere has to be a way to get to you.
\nThere is so much you and I can do.
\nTrue love waits, but my patience is thin.
\nI have a goal. It\u2019s you to win.
\nWin your heart and your love too.
\nIs that too much to ask of you?
\nI can always try some poetry.
\nSuggesting for you to go to me.
\nSo I can smother you with love and kisses.
\nOr, would that be too much for the misses?
\nThis is much more than an infatuation.
\nI am dying here of anticipation.
\nLoving someone who doesn\u2019t know.
\nCan steal away your very soul.
\nI am on the line and I don\u2019t want off.
\nUntil your heart starts to get soft.
\nEventually, things may go my way.
