See the footprints in the sand.
\nHere is something I don\u2019t understand.
\nThe footprints head way out there.
\nThen, they end up going nowhere?
\nThey just suddenly disappear.
\nTo me that seems really queer.
\nWere they abducted by a UFO?
\nThe prints go nowhere with nowhere to go.
\nDid the sand open up and swallow them up?
\nDid they step through a portal or fall in a rut?
\nFor some reason they just disappear.
\nWhy would these tracks end right here?
\nThere is nothing around from what I can see.
\nThis is truly a mystery to me.
\nWas he like Elijah or Enoch, caught up to heaven?
\nMaybe he became some alien\u2019s leaven?
\nThere are no tracks to show a thing.
\nNo sign of a scuffle or anything.
\nDid he step into another dimension?
\nIf so, I had better pay attention.
\nI don\u2019t want to fall down the some rabbit hole.
\nWhere Alice in Wonderland wouldn\u2019t go.
\nSimply gone, like so many other people & things.
\nLife is not so simple as it seems.
\nAll I can say is: Keep picking them up & laying them down.
\nKeep making tracks all around.
\nThen, by chance, if you should disappear.
\nLeave tracks that are very clear.
\nMaybe then, you might be found.
\nNot like these footprints, where ever they are bound.<\/p>\n
