The Chronicles Of Kronos (Chapter 5)<\/p>\n
Kronos prepared for Asglow\u2019s return.
\nThere wasn\u2019t much that he had to learn.
\nHe knew the basic spell to cast already.
\nFirst, he checked the warp, feeling sweaty.
\nHe determined that Asglow was still alive.
\nHopefully, not insane, he said with pride.
\nHe had the proper amulet for the spell.
\nHe hoped that all would go well.
\nHe rambled some magical words.
\nA blue light shot out and blurred.
\nThen it went through the amulet.
\nCreating a brilliant circle of light beyond it.
\nAsglow fell out of it, like through a door.
\nThen, Asglow fell to the floor.
\nHe slowly rose and stared in horror.
\n\u201cYou!! I will rip your throat out!!\u201d
\n\u201cWhoa\u201d said Kronos. \u201cBack off you lout.\u201d
\n\u201cI am not the Kronos you think I am.\u201d
\n\u2018Just relax, be patient a second, if you can.\u201d
\n\u201cI am not Egor\u2019s soulless creation.\u201d
\n\u201cI am Kronos. I am your father.\u201d with elation.
\n\u201cWhat? How can that be. Kronos is dead.\u201d
\n\u201cI was for 150+ years in hell.\u201d
\n\u201cBeing ripped apart over & over by panthers as well.\u201d
\n\u201cThen, the Dark Lord returned me to the living.\u201d
\n\u201cTo do a special job for him. I\u2019m not kidding.\u201d
\n\u201cThe demons allowed me to set you free.\u201d
\n\u201cThey said you would then be helping me.\u201d
\n\u201cI have been back for a year, or so.\u201d
\n\u201cIf I disobey, you know where will go.\u201d
\nKronos then told Asglow all that he knew.
\nHe showed him the book where he learned to
\nbring back Asglow, & the rest of the history
\nwhile he was in hell. It was no longer a mystery.
\n\u201cThe \u2018created\u2019 Kronos is in the outer darkness.\u201d
\n\u201cThat soulless freak was truly heartless.\u201d
\n\u201cBut, this is the real me, ready to kick some ass.\u201d
\n\u201cI only regret that Anika has already past.\u201d
\n\u201cYes,\u201d said Asglow. \u201cShe did a number on me too.\u201d
\n\u201cI know\u201d said Kronos. \u201cShe treated you like a fool.\u201d
\nThen Kronos told Asglow about his revenge.
\n\u201cThedra didn\u2019t even know how to defend.\u201d
\n\u201cToo bad it wasn\u2019t Anika.\u201d Asglow said.
\n\u201cYes, but, I have been thinking in my head.\u201d
\n\u201cBetween the two of us, we can manipulate time.\u201d
\n\u201cRevenge on Anika may yet be mine.\u201d
\nWith that, Kronos let out a evil cackle.
\n\u201cRight now, that would be too much to tackle.\u201d
\nAsglow said that he was feeling weak and sick.
\nKronos said \u201cI can fix that up real quick.\u201d
\nHe pointed his wand & said \u201cSalvia Officinalis.\u201d
\nAsglow immediately felt in excellent health.
\nHe was a little bit hungry, was all. Loose belt.
\nThey ate a big meal and both felt better.
\nThen, a demon appeared, right to the letter.
\nKronos said \u201cI have been expecting you.\u201d
\n\u201cI am here to make sure neither acts the fool.\u201d
\n\u201cIf you do, back to hell, where panthers await.
\nAsglow will return to the loop. We won\u2019t hesitate.\u201d
\nBoth yelled \u201cNo, we haven\u2019t done a thing.\u201d
\n\u201cI like the way the sound of that rings.\u201d
\nThe demon explained, for Asglow\u2019s benefit.
\nExactly what they would work on forthwith.
\n\u201cWhat. That would be impossible.\u201d
\n\u201cNo Asglow. It is quite possible.\u201d
\n\u201cDemons could do it. But, it must be done by you.\u201d
\n\u201cExactly why, no need to know, just do.\u201d
\n\u201cOnly on a need to know basis will more be revealed.\u201d
\n\u201cNow, continue on. Oh, we have strengthened the shield.\u201d
\nThe force field around the castle was what he meant.
\nWith that, poof, away the demon went.
\nIt seems their path is laid out clear.
\nBut, both want revenge. I am no seer.
\nBut, I would say they will work also on their plan.
\nIf revealed, I will explain it, if I can.<\/p>\n
