Orin was troubled since his mother\u2019s murder.
\nHe checked her body, trying not to disturb her.
\nHe paced, thought, researched, and fumed.
\nThere had to be a way through this gloom.
\nThen, an idea came, as bright as a light.
\nHe would follow through this very night.
\nHe would visit the Lumicates planet.
\nHe had been there before, lots of sand drifts.
\nThe Lumicates could tell of future events.
\nHe would ask them about the way things went.
\nHe zapped there and was welcomed, as usual.
\nHe said he was there on business, as usual.
\nHe told them of his mother\u2019s death.
\nThey had seen waves in time, but missed the vex.
\nThey were saddened to hear of Thedra\u2019s fate.
\nThey were sorry they were a little bit late.
\nOrin asked \u201cWho, or what caused her death?\u201d
\n\u201cIt has a demonic feeling, but familiar, we guess.\u201d
\n\u201cWe can\u2019t say for sure who was the cause.\u201d
\n\u201cNot even why. Maybe revenge\u201d—they paused.
\n\u201cKronos keeps coming to mind.\u201d They said.
\n\u201cBut, he has been dead 150+ years\u201d with dread.
\n\u201cI know\u201d said Orin \u201cIt all makes no sense.\u201d
\n\u201cDo you see more of this in the future?\u201d
\n\u201cPossibly, it is fragmented, hard to pursue sir.\u201d
\n\u201cI have to stop any further deadly use of magic.\u201d

\nOrin thanked them for their help.
\nThen he zapped to Vantera, thinking how he felt.
\nHe planned to zap to the plateau the next day.
\nHe will zap right in. That is the easiest way.
\nThe stronger shield didn\u2019t prevent him from doing this.
\nIt didn\u2019t trigger the shield. Nothing was amiss.
\nHe had on a cloak of invisibility when he got there.
\nThere was no one around anywhere.
\nThen he heard two people talking.
\nHe checked it out without gawking.
\nKronos and Asglow were having a discussion.
\nHe used a spell to increase his percussion.
\nHe wanted to hear all they were saying,
\nwithout getting in their way then.
\n\u201cWe can cast a spell to take us back in time.\u201d
\n\u201cThen, revenge on Anika will be mine.\u201d
\n\u201cWhat about the demons finding out.\u201d
\n\u201cI have been trying to figure that one out.\u201d
\n\u201cAre you nuts!! You can\u2019t go back and change time.\u201d
\n\u201cOnce passed it is set. You would cause a rip in time.\u201d
\n\u201cYou would destroy all that is here, including you.\u2019
\n\u201cThis has been proven after the end of you fools.\u201d
\nKronos & Asglow jumped. \u201cWhat the hell??\u201d
\n\u201cWho said that?\u201d \u201cIs it a demon I smell?\u201d
\n\u201cI am no demon. My name is Orin.\u201d
\n\u201cSo, you were here before then?\u201d
\n\u201cYes, I was here one time before.\u201d
\n\u201cIt was my mother you killed!!\u201d he yelled with a roar.
\n\u201cThey charged in his general direction.
\nBut, Orin zapped back to Vantera with misdirection.
\nHe didn\u2019t want them following his trail.
\nThey would follow, but later, without fail.
\nThey contemplated what Orin had said.
\nAbout causing a rip in time instead.
\nThey decided to take revenge on Vantera.
\nAsglow had been raised there, he said with a grin.
\nThey immediately began making plans.
\nI will tell you more when I can.
\nFor now be assured things are warming up.
\nTrouble is brewing in the Sorcerers\u2019 cup.
