Kronos and Asglow got back to work.
\nMostly, it was research. Where does it lerk?
\nThere had to be something about it here.
\nSo many books & scrolls to clear.
\nThey had a small fragment from some.
\nA smidgeon from another one.
\nMaybe, a picture was starting to form.
\nBut, this project was so big, they were torn.
\nIt just didn\u2019t seem possible.
\nFor such a thing to be done would be awful.
\nWhat in the world were those demons planning?
\nMaybe we should start a little scanning?
\nIn the meantime, Orin had a private meeting.
\nIn the church, where priests were completing
\na prayer spell to keep demons out.
\nOrin didn\u2019t want them hearing what it was about.
\nIt was announced as a simple prayer meeting.
\nAll were welcome, with a greeting.
\nOrin\u2019s plan was a simple one.
\nHe would use the aliens ship as a pun.
\nA ruse to mislead the demons on their plan.
\nHe believed the demons would stop the ship, if they can.
\nMeanwhile, by all indications, the portals were open.
\nThe original way the wizards got to Vantera, hooping
\nWarlocks would not follow them through the 7 portals.
\nNow, they would only have to go through the first portal.
\nThen, they could zap to the castle from there.
\n\u201cWhat if the portal doesn\u2019t lead anywhere?\u201d
\n\u201cBy all indications it is still in place.\u201d
\n\u201cIt is a gamble I am willing to take.\u201d
\nFinally, they heard from the aliens.
\nThe aliens would help, hopefully, without failing them.
\nThen Orin met with the aliens face to face.
\nThe church was where the meeting took place.
\nOrin told the aliens the entire story.
\nThe aliens said \u201cThis could get gory.\u201d
\n\u201cWe hope you are only prevented from flying away.\u201d
\n\u201cAnd, that you will live to fight another day.\u201d
\n\u201cThanks. We are willing to risk it.\u201d
\n\u201cFor a reward we only want a few of Anika\u2019s bisket\u2019s.\u201d
\nOrin easily agreed to those terms.
\nPlans were made and a time was set.
\nExactly what took place, I don\u2019t know yet.
\nBut, when I do I will write it down.
\nI won\u2019t have to wait long, I have found.<\/p>\n
