The Chronicles Of Kronos (Chapter 9)<\/p>\n
While Kronos & Asglow were scanning.
\nTrying to see what the demons were planning.
\nOrin & others went through the first portal.
\nOrin went through and gave a chortle.
\nAt the same time the alien ship took off.
\nSome Wizards were on board, taken aloft.
\nThe demons did prevent the ship from leaving.
\nIt somehow landed again. They were seething.
\nOrin & others made it to the first planet.
\nThey immediately did as they planned it.
\nThey zapped to the castle in numbers.
\nPrepared to fight, not look at wonders.
\nKronos & Asglow were immediately aware.
\nThey sealed the library with care.
\nThey headed for the throne room with glee.
\nThe Wizards were preparing to fight, you see.
\nThey cast a protective spell.
\nKronos brought it down with his wand & a yell.
\nRays of light were flashing all over the place.
\nAsglow defended himself with grace.
\nThese Wizards were no match for them.
\nKronos & Asglow could take them on a whim.
\nKronos made one Wizard cluck & strut like a chicken.
\nAsglow made another give himself a lickin.
\nOrin was the only one who brought them to task.
\nKronos was about to make it Orin\u2019s last.
\nThen a half dozen demons appeared.
\n\u201cStop this nonsense!! Yelled one to be revered.
\nSuch an authoritative voice froze them all.
\n\u201cYou will not be fighting in this hallowed hall.\u201d
\nOne Wizard sent fire & he was evaporated.
\n\u201cWe can\u2019t fight demons!!\u201d yelled Orin, exasperated.
\n\u201cThis will be settled without any further death.\u201d
\n\u201cWould you prefer I take away your breath?\u201d
\nOne of the Wizards grabbed his throat & gasped for air.
\nAt the same time, he hung suspended in the air.
\n\u201cEnough!!\u201d yelled Orin. \u201cWe will not fight.\u201d
\nThe blue faced Wizard gulped in air with fright.
\n\u201cYou are fighting the Warlocks for your mother\u2019s death.\u201d
\n\u201cWe demons arranged it. Our goals were met.\u201d
\n\u201cYou have a right to want revenge.\u201d
\n\u201cBut, we cannot allow it. So, it ends.\u201d
\n\u201cWe will cast a spell of forgetfulness on you.\u201d
\n\u201cThere is nothing that you can do.\u201d
\n\u201cYou will remember your mother died in an accident.\u201d
\n\u201cNo one will remember how she really went.\u201d
\n\u201cOur needs MUST come first.\u201d
\n\u201cThis castle is taboo. For you, it is cursed.\u201d
\n\u201cNo one will attempt to come here again.\u201d
\n\u201cThis is now settled. No one will win.\u201d
\n\u201cExcept us. We have things that must be done.\u201d
\nAfter that, the demons cast the spell on everyone.
\nEveryone but Kronos & Asglow, who were spared.
\nThey could get back to work. No one cared.
\nKronos & Asglow were left with a feeling
\nthat revenge had been done. No further revealing.
\nOrin & the others zapped home.
\nThe demons were gone, with a slight moan.
\nKronos said \u201cWhat just happened?\u201d
\nNothing came to thought that would attract them.
\nThey went back to their work of scanning.
\nThinking the demons didn\u2019t know what they were planning.
\nIt wasn\u2019t long till a demon popped into view.
\n\u201cApparently, we are not getting through.\u201d
\n\u201cWe said on a need to know basis.\u201d
\n\u201cKnock off the scanning. Don\u2019t look faceless.\u201d
\n\u201cWe know all that you are doing.\u201d
\n\u201cGet back to work. No more fooling.\u201d
\nWith that, the demon disappeared.
\n\u201cIt seems we have no choice\u201d Kronos said. \u201cHow weird.\u201d
\nMonths passed & an idea began to form.
\nThe demon plan was now being born.
\nIt didn\u2019t seem quite as farfetched anymore.
\nBut, it did open up many more doors.
\nOne day, a demon popped in.
\nScaring Asglow, who went into a spin.
\n\u201cCan\u2019t you at least knock\u201d Asglow said.
\n\u201cStop your complaining\u201d the demon said.
\n\u201cWe have been carefully watching the two of you.\u201d
\n\u201cThe Dark Lord is pleased with both you two.\u201d
\n\u201cYou are ready to know about phase II.\u201d
\nThe demon explained what was expected of the two.
\n\u201cWhat!!. I swear you demons are nuts!!\u201d
\n\u201cDo it. I don\u2019t want to hear any if\u2019s, ands, or buts!!\u201d
\nWhat was expected, I do not know.
\nThe demon was gone without any show.
\nAs soon as I hear more.
\nI will let you know the score.<\/p>\n
