The Chronicles Of Kronos Volume Two (Chapter 3)<\/p>\n
\u2018The Shadow\u2019 had been at Castle Kronos for awhile now.
\nHe was trying to figure out this whole demon thing somehow.
\nOne day Kronos said \u201cTell us more about what the Bible said.\u201d
\n\u2018The Shadow\u2019 looked at him & bowed his head.
\n\u201cThere is much it says. But, it can be interpreted many ways.\u201d
\n\u201cApparently, a war, named Armageddon, will happen someday.\u201d
\n\u201cIt will be the final war. Good against evil to the death.\u201d
\n\u201cThe demons will be fighting heavenly angels, I expect.\u201d
\n\u201cMan will also take sides. The outcome is already set.\u201d
\n\u201cEvil loses and good wins. Then comes the lake of fire.\u201d
\n\u201cAll will be burned till nothing is left. No more liars.\u201d
\n\u201cLake of fire? What exactly does that mean?\u201d
\n\u201cIt is unclear if it is literal or symbolic, it seems.\u201d
\n\u201cWhatever it is, the demons fear it. Their nightmare dreams.\u201d
\n\u201cNo wonder they have all of us working so hard.\u201d
\n\u201cThey must win, or become sizzling lard.\u201d
\n\u201cThat would be a major motivation for them.\u201d
\n\u201cThey have to come up with a plan to win.\u201d
\n\u201cI am not religious, but, I hope they lose big.\u201d
\n\u201cThey consider us no better than a pig.\u201d
\n\u201cThere has to be a way to disrupt their plans.\u201d
\n\u201cIf possible, we will do it, if we can.\u201d
\nThe conversation drifted off to other subjects.
\nThen, \u2018The Shadow\u2019 asked Kronos a subject.
\n\u201cWhat was your father like when he was alive.\u201d
\n\u201cIn the golden years of magic, he did thrive.\u201d
\n\u201cHe was probably the greatest warlock alive.\u201d
\n\u201cHe had a huge following that called him king.\u201d
\n\u201cWhy? Because he could do almost anything.\u201d
\n\u201cHe met his demise in a foolish way.\u201d
\n\u201cAnathea, The Great Deceiver, had the final say.\u201d
\n\u201cMy father had her captured, but she escaped.\u201d
\n\u201cHe had been working on a spell to overtake.\u201d
\n\u201cBut, going against her spear\/wand was a mistake.\u201d
\n\u201cHe had made an error in his spell.\u201d
\n\u201cThe spear overtook him & sent him to hell.\u201d
\n\u201cLater, I found the error he had made.\u201d
\n\u201cHe couldn\u2019t fight white magic with only a blade.\u201d
\n\u201cI reworked the spell to make it reverse the spear.\u201d
\n\u201cShe would destroy herself if she used the spear.\u201d
\n\u201cBut, Anathea was gone. It was too late.\u201d
\n\u201cI wanted to use it against Anika, a justified fate.\u201d
\n\u2018But, she never used the wand\/spear?\u201d
\n\u201cIf she had, she wouldn\u2019t be here.\u201d
\n\u201cOr there, so to speak.\u201d
\n\u201cHer power would be reversed on her for her defeat.\u201d
\n\u201cMy father trained me from the crib.\u201d
\n\u201cTo take his place, which I obviously did.\u201d
\n\u201cOver 800 years, I ruled with an iron hand.\u201d
\n\u201cUntil Anika, the new Deceiver, tipped my hand.\u201d
\n\u201dThe rest is known history\u201d
\n\u201cI reread the history after your death.\u201d \u2018The Shadow\u2019 said.
\n\u201cA plan has been coming into my head\u201d
\n\u201cI think the demons gave you that book to set you up.\u201d
\n\u201cThey wanted you to bring Asglow back, with luck.\u201d
\n\u201cThey could have done it, but if you did, you\u2019d care.\u201d
\n\u201cThen you two would work better as a pair.\u201d
\n\u201cWhy would they want that? Because of positive magic.\u201d
\n\u201cOnly Asglow knew how to handle both kinds of magic.\u201d
\n\u201cThe demons cannot use positive or white magic.\u201d
\n\u201cIf they tried to, the results would be tragic.\u201d
\n\u201cOnly God knows the beginning from the end.\u201d
\n\u201cI am sure he has told the demons their tragic end.\u201d
\n\u201cThey want to change that ending if they possibly can.\u201d
\n\u201cThat is why such an elaborate plan.\u201d
\n\u201cYou are only pawns in their master scheme.\u201d
\n\u201cEven if it leads to the end of everything.\u201d
\n\u201cMaybe the lake of fire is the demons own doing.\u201d
\n\u201cThe Bible does say that after, a new heaven & earth are made.\u201d
\n\u201cMaybe because of the mess the demons have made.\u201d
\n\u201cSomething is slowly coming to mind right now.\u201d
\n\u201cJust how we can make sure that\u2019s how it happens somehow.\u201d
\n\u201cI can\u2019t talk more about it just yet.\u201d
\n\u201cI have a lot more planning & research to get.\u201d
\n\u201cWhen I am ready I will fill you in.\u201d
\nUntil that happens I must leave till then.
\nBut, when ready, I will be back.
