Magic And Early Man<\/p>\n
Many, many eons ago in the fantasy land of Tangura.
\nA very wise man went into a deep trance.
\nWhen he awoke, he shouted \u2018Congura.\u201d
\nIt meant he had found out something in his trance.
\nHe had discovered magic. But, how to tap into it?
\nHe went to work immediately on the problem.
\nSoon, he had devised a simple spell that seemed fit.
\nHe mumbled some words that didn\u2019t solve them.
\nHe needed a focus. So used an ash branch.
\nStraight, about two feet long, tapered on the end.
\nHe pointed and mumbled. Light shot out of the branch.
\nHe burned a hole in the wall. In came the wind.
\nHe knew he was onto something then.
\nA year, or so later, he had composed a book.
\nMagic spells, potions, and other gems.
\nHe called himself a wizard to those who looked.
\nSoon, he had an assistant, an acolyte.
\nThey would stir up big boiling pots of herbs, etc.
\nSprinkle in the right potions to make it right.
\nDrink it and cure warts, fever, and an itch.
\nSoon, the acolyte had had enough of this.
\nIn secret, he whipped up a brew of his own.
\nHe drank it and brought on a real twist.
\nIt affected him right down to the bone.
\nHe called himself a warlock, and so it went.
\nThe battle between good and evil was on.
\nSoon, there were others. They had the scent.
\nCults were formed. Soon, a war was brought on.
\nThrough the ages, the battle has raged.
\nGood verses evil. Until this very day.
\nMagic is no longer used, but they are engaged.
\nThe good verses evil game is still played.
\nEverything starts somewhere. Till it ends.<\/p>\n
