\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Soapbox poet gives thanks<\/strong><\/p>\n Writing poems all the time like I do.<\/p>\n I thought I would write this poem for you.<\/p>\n So reader of this poem, enjoy it much.<\/p>\n It won\u2019t be about violence or lust.<\/p>\n It won\u2019t be about how people betray.<\/p>\n Or about how players play.<\/p>\n It won\u2019t have a sad and tearful ending.<\/p>\n No, not this poem I am sending.<\/p>\n It won\u2019t have fantasy or magic in it.<\/p>\n It won\u2019t be comical. Don\u2019t have a fit.<\/p>\n It won\u2019t be about nature, which I really love.<\/p>\n It won\u2019t be a message from God above.<\/p>\n I know you often like many of these.<\/p>\n But, this poem is special from me.<\/p>\n Why? Because I am writing it for you.<\/p>\n It is what I want to do.<\/p>\n I can\u2019t rhyme orange, purple, or silver either.<\/p>\n But, they are colors true to the believer.<\/p>\n So I will leave them alone.<\/p>\n They have a place all on their own.<\/p>\n This poem is about my gratitude.<\/p>\n That, in your busy life you would include<\/p>\n a little time to read my poems.<\/p>\n You read them without me paying you coins.<\/p>\n You often have kind things to say.<\/p>\n This will often make my day.<\/p>\n This poem isn\u2019t much except a way to say thanks.<\/p>\n I appreciate the responses without any pranks.<\/p>\n It makes my efforts worth it all.<\/p>\n So, thank you now, one and all.—————-R.
