There is little that is more upsetting<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

than rolling power outages, I\u2019m betting.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The power company turns all off.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Fire danger\u2019 is the talk.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cut the power to prevent forest fires.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is this true, or are they liars?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, it is happening. Like it or not.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But, if your bill is less, it will be a shock.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Generators are selling like no tomorrow.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

An all electric house will bring sorrow.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back to the stone age with the flip of a switch.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wonder what Edison would have thought of this?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I suppose it is better than a fire storm.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whole towns burned down with no time to warn.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The power company should clear around the lines.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If they refuse, then bring on the fines.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is amazing how dependent we are.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I suppose it is nice we have come this far.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But, with no power, life really sucks.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Give us the power back—-we\u2019ll pay the bucks.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
