It all started when I was three.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Something pretty bizarre happened to me.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They looked for me, but I was gone.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They were worried someone had come along.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Somehow, someone had stolen me away.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They knew I couldn\u2019t get out to play.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still, they searched inside and out.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It seems I was nowhere about.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later that day, I was back again.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They immediately asked me where I\u2019d been.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I said I hadn\u2019t gone anywhere.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All the time, I had been right there.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I couldn\u2019t understand the state they were in.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All I knew was the thunder had gotten in.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I was twelve, it happened again.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time, I was with a friend.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were walking in the woods.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We knew to get home when we should.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suddenly, I was no longer there.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They couldn\u2019t find me anywhere.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My friend ran to get help.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When he arrived, he was by his self.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frightened, he said I was there, then gone.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had just vanished. He knew something was wrong.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They searched for a day and a half. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

No sign was found. Not even a track.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 \u00bd days later, they heard me calling for Buzz.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was found walking. They asked how I was.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I said I was looking for my friend high & low.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He had vanished a few minutes ago.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They said I had been gone a day & a half.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What did I have to say about that?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I remembered nothing about it, then:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I remembered. Someone had let the thunder in.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was 18 and graduated from high school.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just sitting in my room with little to do.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I heard the thunder and I was gone.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time I remember what went on.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was in a white room in, like a dentist\u2019s chair.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I called out, but, it seemed as no one was there.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then a voice inside my head was heard.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMental telepathy is bringing you these words.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou were taken twice before to prepare you\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPhysical changes in mind and body as you grew.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll in preparation for what is to come.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou are being programmed to be the one\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat? I am to be the one what?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll tell you all. You\u2019re not in a rut.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou\u2019re being programmed to be a political leader\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe greatest orator of all time. A real feeder.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou will feed the people on the perfect truth.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLead them to everlasting peace. All else is moot.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBoth political parties will bend to your will.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSoon after you take power, no one will kill.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou will lead the USA, then the whole world.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA major social revolution, you will herald.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThen your world will be ready to join others.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThose throughout the galaxy are these others.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA Galactic Federation of peace and understanding.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis will be what the earth is demanding.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe will lay out your curriculum at every step.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOnce all goals have been met,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

then you will be on your way.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I woke up lying on my bed.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I could remember it all in my head.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, a smile came to my face.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Someone let the thunder in. —Let\u2019s make haste.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
