Walking down the road, whistling a song.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was watching my step when a car came along.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The guy pulled up and rolled down his window.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said; \u201cHey kid, are you single?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat?? I am way too young to be married.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The guy just laughed. He kind of looked like Larry.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJust kidding ya. Hey, do ya want a lift?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was worried. He might be \u2018sick.\u2019<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy mom said not to talk to strangers.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy name is Bill. Now we are not strangers.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFunny.\u201d, I said. \u201cBut, that\u2019s not how it goes.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou never know how some people roll.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDo I look like the type to be deceiving?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou never know what someone may be needing.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, where are ya going anyway?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201dTo visit my friend who lives down the way.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRight on the way. Let me give you a lift.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI would rather slip in spit.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s your problem kid? I\u2019m offering help.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou\u2019re my problem. You little weirdo whelp.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou have a real mouth on ya, kid.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c Where\u2019s your manners. You talk like Sid.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWho the hell is Sid?\u201d I said.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA smart mouth kid I know.\u201d He said.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCan\u2019t blame him. You\u2019re harassing kids.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat do you mean? I never harassed Sid.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, you are harassing me.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHow do you figure? Talk to me.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI told you I don\u2019t talk to strangers.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYet, you made a joke of it. That\u2019s danger.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat the hell? I just offered you a lift?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd I said I\u2019d rather slip in spit.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTake the hint and hit the road.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBefore I attack you with my toad.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He laughed. \u201cYou are one rough kid.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSick your toad on me. You\u2019re worse than Sid.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou need to stick it where the sun don\u2019t shine.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRotate on it while you\u2019re at it. See what you find.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou\u2019re one smart assed little shit.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m leaving. I won\u2019t miss you one little bit.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With that, he took off, tires squealing. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Though this story may not be appealing.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a lesson on how to handle creepy strangers.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
