The Wood Chopper (Part one)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Things were well till I heard the bell.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They ring the bell when things are not well.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone gathered in the town square.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It looked like everyone was there.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The word was there was a missing child.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

She seems to have wandered into the wild.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A group was formed to look for her.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They would find her, to be sure.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After 2 days in the wild woods,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They had no leads, like they should.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, they came upon a woodsman\u2019s tracks.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They followed them to his shack.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was a hermit who stayed to himself.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sold his wood whenever he felt.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He lived off the land & lived all alone.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was dirty & skinny as a bone.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But, he swing a wicked axe.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All his wood was around in stacks.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They asked him if he\u2019d seen the girl.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

His answer was slow coming to tell.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He made them all very suspicious.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He offered them stew. It was delicious.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They decided to keep an eye on him.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is where the story begins.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
