I saw him standing by his car.<\/p>\n

He said \u201cOh, there you are.\u201d<\/p>\n

I said \u201cWho are you?\u201d<\/p>\n

He said \u201cYour dream come true.\u201d<\/p>\n

He had lovely blue eyes.<\/p>\n

His smile lit up the skies.<\/p>\n

He offered me a ride.<\/p>\n

How was I to know he lied?<\/p>\n

I won\u2019t tell you what happened first.<\/p>\n

But, when I said \u201cNo.\u201d, it made him curse.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll never ride with another strange guy.<\/p>\n

I won\u2019t fall for all his lies.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t care if he has beautiful eyes.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t care about the car he drives.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll just say the answer is no.<\/p>\n

I am sorry, but I have to go.<\/p>\n

Another time and another place.<\/p>\n

There was another smiling face.<\/p>\n

Another fancy car & pickup line.<\/p>\n

Pretty face & eyes that said you\u2019re mine.<\/p>\n

Offering me another ride.<\/p>\n

Acting like he didn\u2019t lie.<\/p>\n

He got upset when I said no.<\/p>\n

I told him I had to go.<\/p>\n

He was a demanding so & so.<\/p>\n

So I told him where to go.<\/p>\n

I learned my lesson & I learned it well.<\/p>\n

If this is their approach they can go to hell.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not looking for a thrill.<\/p>\n

I want a boy who loves me for me.<\/p>\n

One who takes his time to get to know me.<\/p>\n

He thinks more of feelings than he does sex.<\/p>\n

One that won\u2019t make my life a wreck.<\/p>\n

A serious minded young man.<\/p>\n

Who treats me like I really am.<\/p>\n

That way I won\u2019t have to say no.<\/p>\n
