\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Thinking Back<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Ain\u2019t it funny how time slips away.<\/p>\n

Before you know it you\u2019re old and gray.<\/p>\n

Sliding into the winter of your life.<\/p>\n

You hurt in the places where you used to play.<\/p>\n

But, your heart\u2019s still in it all the way.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ve planned for this time with your wife.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When you were young did you used to say, \u201cWhen I\u2019m a man will I like the things I do today?\u201d<\/p>\n

When all grown up did you stay the same?<\/p>\n

I still like to go out of my way to play.<\/p>\n

But, some things changed from day to day.<\/p>\n

Then there are others that still remain.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

No longer a child. Children came my way.<\/p>\n

Children get older. They are adults today.<\/p>\n

Remember, were getting \u00a0older too.<\/p>\n

Now they can remember how they used to play.<\/p>\n

They can say: \u201cIt\u2019s still in the same old way.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not the same as when they were in school.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

They may view things in a different way. \u201cI am just older\u2019 is what they say.<\/p>\n

I may be older but, not dead yet.<\/p>\n

I remember it all like the other day.<\/p>\n

They say one thing, I say \u201cNo way!!.\u201d<\/p>\n

They say \u201cWould you like to make a bet?\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Never bet against what old guy\u2019s say.<\/p>\n

They were not born yesterday.<\/p>\n

They know what happened & what did not.<\/p>\n

They have a right to what they say.<\/p>\n

It comes from experience during their day.<\/p>\n

They have fought for everything \u00a0they\u2019ve got.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I seem to have gotten a little astray.<\/p>\n

But, I do have one thing left to say.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s for my wife, who was there too.<\/p>\n

If I had to travel along this road till today.<\/p>\n

It was sure nice having you with me all the way.<\/p>\n
