\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The IRS Blues<\/strong><\/p>\n I got the blues.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Those government taxes blues.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Those back stabbing, wage nabbing blues.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n You can never win, but you can lose, blues.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Dig deep into your pockets & cough it up.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Drop your donations into the IRS cup.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Uncle Sam needs a new pair of shoes.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I got the big time tax paying blues.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n There is little left for the little guy.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The irony of it is kind of wry.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The American Dream is gonna die.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n If you don\u2019t pay you\u2019re gonna fry.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Where\u2019s the answer to this mess.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n There is no answer would be my guess,.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n You can only pay more, never less.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The whole system sucks, I confess.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n If I never paid a dime<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n then I would have the time <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n to live the good life.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I would have the money for<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n all the things I have wished for<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n without the IRS strife.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I have been on the soapbox.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I have checked my vote box.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I have yelled and screamed.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I have really caused a scene.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Yet, I MUST pay before I play.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n That is your tax laws today.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n There has got to be a better way.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n There is nothing else I have to say.———R.
