Limited Options<\/strong><\/p>\n

The blood.<\/p>\n

The pain.<\/p>\n

The horrible memories<\/p>\n

Flashing through my brain.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

My mind\u2019s eye<\/p>\n

Sees them all again;<\/p>\n

Like a nightmare<\/p>\n

Filled with wicked sin.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I tremble in fear.<\/p>\n

I scream, I cry.<\/p>\n

I cannot escape,<\/p>\n

Though I may try.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The scars upon my body.<\/p>\n

The scars within my mind.<\/p>\n

Have returned again to haunt me<\/p>\n

From a past long left behind.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A childhood forgotten.<\/p>\n

Experiences long denied.<\/p>\n

Now, suddenly remembered<\/p>\n

Have left me terrified.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I huddle in a corner.<\/p>\n

I hide within my bed.<\/p>\n

But, I can\u2019t escape these demons<\/p>\n

That keep screaming in my head.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This Clockwork Orange experience<\/p>\n

That disrupts my normal day.<\/p>\n

Is driving me to suicide.<\/p>\n

Is there another way?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I cry for help.<\/p>\n

But, no one hears.<\/p>\n

I run and hide<\/p>\n

To escape my fears.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Curse my father.<\/p>\n

Curse my mother too.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re\u00a0 the ones responsible<\/p>\n

For what I\u2019m going to do.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I\u2019m going where pain can\u2019t hurt me.<\/p>\n

Where fears no longer rule.<\/p>\n

If there\u2019s a God in heaven<\/p>\n
