I remember the day he saved my life.<\/p>\n

It was filled with heartache and strife.<\/p>\n

I was truly thinking of checking out.<\/p>\n

I picked a time when no one was about.<\/p>\n

Then, there was a knock on the door.<\/p>\n

It was a coleporter selling books & more.<\/p>\n

He talked about how the Bible gave us hope.<\/p>\n

About how we can get help to cope.<\/p>\n

What he said made sense to me.<\/p>\n

I asked the man to pray with me.<\/p>\n

He did & I felt a weight being lifted off.<\/p>\n

I know all of this made the Devil wroth.<\/p>\n

I bought a book called \u201cSteps To Christ.\u201d<\/p>\n

I read it and it changed my life.<\/p>\n

I knelt & gave it all to the Lord.<\/p>\n

Life was exciting. No longer bored.<\/p>\n

I called the coleporter & bought more books.<\/p>\n

I read them all. I also read the Bible book.<\/p>\n

I was changed. I was alive.<\/p>\n

I told others about it. I didn\u2019t hide.<\/p>\n

I went to church . I made new friends.<\/p>\n

I talk to everyone that God sends.<\/p>\n

Many have followed my example.<\/p>\n

My testimony, I guess, was ample.<\/p>\n

Things are great. Things are good.<\/p>\n

I put God first, just like I should.<\/p>\n

Occasionally, trouble still comes my way.<\/p>\n

I pray to God and it all goes away.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll take this life over what I had before.<\/p>\n

With God in my life I have so much more..<\/p>\n

I have that coleporter to thank.<\/p>\n

He is the best. On that you can bank.<\/p>\n

He saved me from checking out.<\/p>\n
