\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Turned Around By God<\/strong><\/p>\n

I heard a rustling in the dirty alley.<\/p>\n

Then I heard a desperate groan.<\/p>\n

I decided to look, knowing this was folly.<\/p>\n

The Lord impressed me to check out the moan.<\/p>\n

There in the filth, urine, and waste<\/p>\n

lye a long haired \u2018hippy type\u2019 in tattered clothes.<\/p>\n

He smelled strong of alcohol & body waste.<\/p>\n

The smell of a hash pipe hit my nose.<\/p>\n

I knelt down and he looked around.<\/p>\n

His pupils were pin point, though in the shade.<\/p>\n

I knew more than alcohol & mj. \u00a0could be found.<\/p>\n

He \u00a0smelled like hammered pig poop in a glade.<\/p>\n

You look like life has kicked you around some.<\/p>\n

You look about as low as you can go.<\/p>\n

You look like you\u2019re ready for the ground, son.<\/p>\n

You don\u2019t see anywhere else to go.<\/p>\n

Let me say there is a new man in town.<\/p>\n

He has the power to set you free.<\/p>\n

Just sit up and look around.<\/p>\n

This is not the life for you or me.<\/p>\n

His name is Jesus and He is your friend.<\/p>\n

You say what would He want with you?<\/p>\n

There are many others who are where you\u2019ve been.<\/p>\n

Through you, Jesus can set them free too.<\/p>\n

Let me help you to go where there is help.<\/p>\n

Later, after a bath , shave, haircut, & clothes.<\/p>\n

The young man looked like a fine young whelp<\/p>\n

He thanked me and as he rose<\/p>\n

I said dinner is very soon. Stay and have a bite.<\/p>\n

He did & he ate like there was no tomorrow.<\/p>\n

We prayed over the meal & he didn\u2019t feel right.<\/p>\n

I said Jesus can take away all pain and sorrow.<\/p>\n

He wanted to know how that could be?<\/p>\n

During a Bible study, I learned he was Carl.<\/p>\n

Many answers were given to him, you see.<\/p>\n

Soon, he was moved by the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n

He realized he really could be free.<\/p>\n

He gave his heart to God. Let\u2019s hear it.<\/p>\n

Praise the Lord!! He now had a job to do.<\/p>\n

He went back to the alleys & byways of the city.<\/p>\n

He preached to others. He was like them too.<\/p>\n

Now he was free. No more sorrow or pity.<\/p>\n

By the power of Christ, he converted many.<\/p>\n

His joy in life was seeing others saved.<\/p>\n

Believe me, his reward will be plenty.<\/p>\n

His greatest love was Jesus, he raved.<\/p>\n
