The day was just like any old day<\/strong><\/p>\n

as I went into town on my merry way.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I went to the bank to make a deposit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was money I saved & had stashed in my closet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I was in line waiting for a teller.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Then the man in front pushed another feller.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He said \u201dAll down. This is a stick up.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

A man in back said \u201dYou heard him. What\u2019s the hold up?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Everyone hit the floor and laid face down.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The teller was looking at them with a frown.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cPut all the money in these sacks.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cUnless you want a bullet coming out your back.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The teller scrambled. Shaking a lot, he did as told.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Then the drama started to unfold.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A teenager got to his feet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cUnless you want to die you better find your seat.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cMy mother is VERY sick.\u201d the kid said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI need to make a withdrawal or she will be dead.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cSorry about that kid, but this money is mine.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cIt probably would be any other time.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cBut, today the Lord told me that\u2019s not going to be.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cHe said you will give me the money that belongs to me.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cKid, you\u2019re brave, but, also crazy.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cSit down now. Your bravado hasn\u2019t fazed me.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The kid moved to block the bandit\u2019s retreat.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Two guns were raised for the kid to meet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the bank manager pushed the silent alarm.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The button was on the floor, right by his arm.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cLast warning kid. Get out of the way.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Lord will protect me this very day.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both bandits tried to fire at his head.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both guns jammed, just like the kid said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Then sirens were heard getting louder.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The bandits dropped their loot and took a powder. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Police caught them before they had gotten far. <\/strong><\/p>\n

They didn\u2019t even make it to their car.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The police went into<\/strong> the bank to get the facts.<\/p>\n

They saw the money still in the sacks.<\/p>\n

Bank people counted and some missing was found.<\/p>\n

Then a teller found the kids withdrawal slip on the ground.<\/p>\n

Made out to the same exact amount.<\/p>\n

They called the mother and made another count.<\/p>\n

The mother said \u201dI don\u2019t have a son.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then she saw the money . It was real, not for fun.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was too sick to make a withdrawal.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWho could have done this after all?\u201d<\/p>\n

The bank was amazed because the kid had disappeared.<\/p>\n

Most who were there thought it was really weird.<\/p>\n

But, I knew it had to be an angel that day.<\/p>\n

He stopped the robbers from making their play.<\/p>\n

He saved the sick mother\u2019s life.<\/p>\n

Her faith in God gave her strength to fight.<\/p>\n
