We went for a drink at the local watering hole.<\/p>\n

My thirst was burning a hole down to my sole.<\/p>\n

My buddies and I were having a real good time.<\/p>\n

Then she walked in & I went out of my mind.<\/p>\n

I couldn\u2019t walk.<\/p>\n

I couldn\u2019t talk.<\/p>\n

All I could do is gawk.<\/p>\n

A fire started burning deep inside.<\/p>\n

It was from the drink, —–I lied.<\/p>\n

I knew it was from the looks of her.<\/p>\n

A living, walking dream for sure.<\/p>\n

No one else paid her any mind.<\/p>\n

To me she was the greatest find.<\/p>\n

Pull it together boy.<\/p>\n

Stop gawking with joy.<\/p>\n

Get over there and do your thing.<\/p>\n

Before some other guy takes a fling.<\/p>\n

I walked up and started jabbering away.<\/p>\n

She said \u201cCome again, what did you say?\u201d<\/p>\n

My face turned real red.<\/p>\n

\u201cSorry, I must be out of my head.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat seems to be the problem?\u201d, she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, it\u2019s just that you\u2019re so dog gone pretty.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re \u00a0like a beautiful, long haired, kitty.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy, no one has ever said that to me before.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t see why? You, I could always adore.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re a regular Romeo aren\u2019t you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s your name? Don\u2019t say Don Juan will do.\u201d<\/p>\n

I told her my name & she told me hers.<\/p>\n

I felt like she deserved diamonds and furs.<\/p>\n

We continued to talk for some time.<\/p>\n

Before we knew it, it was closing time.<\/p>\n

I told her I had come in with friends.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow I\u2019ll get home now just depends.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSeems they have left some time ago.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll take you wherever you need to go.\u201d<\/p>\n

I said \u201cI\u2019d like to see you again, if I could.\u201d<\/p>\n

Looks like I\u2019m into something good.<\/p>\n

Because she said she would like that.<\/p>\n

So that is where it is all at.<\/p>\n

But, I\u2019m playing my cards with extra care.<\/p>\n
