Life is a funny twist of fate.<\/p>\n

Your born with energy and curiosity.<\/p>\n

Your thoughts are of love, not hate.<\/p>\n

Things are the way they ought to be.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As you age your perception grows.<\/p>\n

There is more than you and mom.<\/p>\n

Life goes on and awareness grows.<\/p>\n

Life at this age is pretty calm.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Then your life encompasses friends.<\/p>\n

Then the world is your concern.<\/p>\n

You wonder where it all begins.<\/p>\n

You study, live, and you learn.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Then you join the world as an adult.<\/p>\n

You get a job and earn a living.<\/p>\n

You often wonder if you missed the boat.<\/p>\n

You struggle, but, you keep on giving.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Then comes a wife and family.<\/p>\n

More bills, more stress and responsibility.<\/p>\n

You love them all more than candy.<\/p>\n

The kids will climb the same hills, you see.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Finally, you reach the age to retire.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Golden Years\u2019 have finally arrived.<\/p>\n

Your glad to finally be out of the mire.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was rough but, I made it,\u201d you cried.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You had big plans. Just needed the time.<\/p>\n

Fishing, hunting, and \u2018honey do\u2019s.\u2019<\/p>\n

Being retired is not a crime.<\/p>\n

No worries of \u2018If you snooze you lose.\u2019<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But, \u2018The Golden Years\u2019 really suck.<\/p>\n

You rarely see your friends now.<\/p>\n

Health problems can cost the buck.<\/p>\n

Hearing and vision fade. You have a cow.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

People won\u2019t return your E-Mail.<\/p>\n

Even the weather seems against you.<\/p>\n

At least your not in jail.<\/p>\n

Could be worse. You could be sued.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u2018Waiting for God\u2019 is a better description.<\/p>\n

For when you reach those \u2018Golden Years,\u2019<\/p>\n

this gives others \u00a0a true depiction<\/p>\n
