I gave up all just to be with you.<\/p>\n

I hoped that our love would be true.<\/p>\n

Time will tell if I am right.<\/p>\n

I pray I am with all my might.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There will come a day for reflections.<\/p>\n

May they show not one rejection.<\/p>\n

Let the pattern of our lives<\/p>\n

be a perfect quilt with no lies.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

May it show only love and devotion.<\/p>\n

Much deeper than any ocean.<\/p>\n

Let it be said we tried our best.<\/p>\n

The love we display will do the rest.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There will be challenges to be sure.<\/p>\n

May they all become only a blur<\/p>\n

in our memory of our past.<\/p>\n

Let us know we found a love that lasts.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As we grow old and set in our ways.<\/p>\n

May we remember we never strayed.<\/p>\n

But, found strength in each other\u2019s arms.<\/p>\n

Smothered in each other\u2019s charms.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When we are both laid down to rest.<\/p>\n

Keep this promise. It\u2019s not a jest.<\/p>\n

We will both step into tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Where there is no pain or sorrow.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For, throughout our lives we have found<\/p>\n

trust in God has kept us around.<\/p>\n

We trusted in Him to guide our lives.<\/p>\n

More than once He saved our hides.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He guarantees we \u00a0have eternity.<\/p>\n

The perfect place for us, you see.<\/p>\n

For we had a lifetime being together.<\/p>\n
