We were walking, my girl & I.<\/p>\n

Her sweet name is Velvet Skye.<\/p>\n

Prettiest thing you would ever see.<\/p>\n

Always wants to be with me.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We walked on along the shore.<\/p>\n

Walked till we couldn\u2019t walk anymore.<\/p>\n

A steep cliff was in our path.<\/p>\n

So we put down our picnic mat.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We prepared to eat our lunch.<\/p>\n

Then we heard an awful crunch.<\/p>\n

A car shot out over the cliff.<\/p>\n

It landed in the ocean mist.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Shocked, we ran to try and help.<\/p>\n

The water was cold with lots of kelp.<\/p>\n

I dove down & pulled out a woman.<\/p>\n

Surfaced & asked if she could swim.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

She nodded yes & headed to shore.<\/p>\n

I dove back down to check for more.<\/p>\n

I found her purse and that was all<\/p>\n

She had \u00a0reached shore & started to bawl.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We gave her a blanket to wrap up in.<\/p>\n

She looked like she was all done in.<\/p>\n

Her boyfriend & her had just split up.<\/p>\n

She was having some pain in her gut.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

She was speeding because she was angry.<\/p>\n

.Air brakes would have came in handy.<\/p>\n

She came into the curve too fast.<\/p>\n

She knew she was going to crash.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

She prayed to a God she barely knew.<\/p>\n

Next she knew I was there too.<\/p>\n

Helping her to get out of the car.<\/p>\n

Bringing her up & to where we are.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I first thought you were an angel.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know how much to tell.<\/p>\n

But, my life is changed somehow.<\/p>\n

God is the only answer now.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Her testimony brought tears to our eyes.<\/p>\n

Then my girl and I both realized.<\/p>\n

We needed God in our life too.<\/p>\n

You pray for us & we\u2019ll pray for you.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Now we all are best of friends.<\/p>\n

As our life in Christ really begins.<\/p>\n

We all go to the same church.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the greatest church on earth.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Because Jesus is there with us.<\/p>\n

We thank Him for our near \u00a0brush<\/p>\n

with death that day at the ocean.<\/p>\n
