I\u2019ve been searching high and low for love.<\/p>\n

A friend said \u201cPull it from a hat, not a glove.\u201d<\/p>\n

So, off to Straw Hat Pizza I went.<\/p>\n

Told them I was there cause I was sent.<\/p>\n

I wanted love served in a hat.<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you nuts?\u201d the guy said back.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy friend said get love out of a hat.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said \u201cStraw Hat is not where it is at.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said \u201cGo down the road till you see the red light.\u201d<\/p>\n

I walked into the firehouse. I hoped he was right.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m here for love\u201d, I said with a grin.<\/p>\n

The man looked like his temper was thin.<\/p>\n

\u201cGet out of here you little cock roach.\u201d<\/p>\n

I was appalled by his reproach.<\/p>\n

I told him I was directed there.<\/p>\n

He said \u201cSomeone was pulling your hair.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said \u201cYou need a house of ill repute.\u201d<\/p>\n

He sent me flying down the road with his boot.<\/p>\n

I thought about what he had said.<\/p>\n

Then a new thought came into my head.<\/p>\n

I rushed across town as fast as I could go.<\/p>\n

I knew then what he said was so.<\/p>\n

I went to the state legislature & I walked in.<\/p>\n

I thought \u2018This is surly a house of sin.\u2019<\/p>\n

They asked me what I was doing there?<\/p>\n

I said\u00a0 \u201cI have come\u00a0 to get my share.\u201d<\/p>\n

They said \u201cDo you have any idea where you are?\u201d<\/p>\n

I said \u201cNot for sure, but I have come pretty far.\u201d<\/p>\n

I said \u201cI am on a quest for love.\u201d<\/p>\n

They escorted me out with a shove.<\/p>\n

I guess it\u2019s right what they say.<\/p>\n

Congress will \u2018screw\u2019 you—with NO love.\u00a0 It\u2019s their way.<\/p>\n
