\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Back To Our Roots<\/strong><\/p>\n Word on the street is something is coming down.<\/p>\n There is something brewing this side of town.<\/p>\n Maybe it\u2019s a rumble between rival gangs.<\/p>\n Maybe it is only Friday night football signs.<\/p>\n It all depends on where you are located.<\/p>\n In the slums, where trash is accumulated.<\/p>\n Or, in the suburbs, or maybe, a rural town.<\/p>\n Or,\u00a0 it might be someone clowning around?<\/p>\n Most likely, it is serious to those involved.<\/p>\n They will push it as far as they are allowed.<\/p>\n I turn on the TV and what do I see?<\/p>\n Occupy Wall Street\u00a0 going on near me.<\/p>\n Is this what the fuss is all about?<\/p>\n Have not\u2019s wanting the haves to feel the clout.<\/p>\n Do they think the world owes them a living?<\/p>\n Or maybe, they like taking instead of giving?<\/p>\n Capitalism is the American way.<\/p>\n Socialism is not. What else can I say.<\/p>\n Maybe things have tipped too far<\/p>\n In favor of those with money and cars.<\/p>\n When people can\u2019t make a living<\/p>\n they will blame those who are not giving.<\/p>\n If everybody was working today<\/p>\n they would have a means to say:<\/p>\n \u201cI can work my way to the top.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI will no longer have to push a mop.\u201d<\/p>\n But, no work means no way to improve.<\/p>\n Which leads to rally\u2019s and a lousy mood.<\/p>\n Our country did fine for 200 years.<\/p>\n Now, hard times has everyone\u2019s ears.<\/p>\n Is there any way out of this terrible mess<\/p>\n that greedy leaders have caused, I\u2019d guess?<\/p>\n Somehow, we have to get back to our roots.<\/p>\n Back when our nation produced the fruits<\/p>\n of\u00a0 ambitious, hard working men.<\/p>\n Who put God first and fought to win<\/p>\n the right for all to have the choice<\/p>\n to go to the top and have a voice<\/p>\n in\u00a0 all that is decided to be done.<\/p>\n Always knowing we all are the ones<\/p>\n that make this country what it is .<\/p>\n The greatest country that there is.———–R.
