Fool me once, it\u2019s on me<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was just an any old kind of day.<\/p>\n

The kind that comes\u00a0 & slips away.<\/p>\n

The kind that fills up easy my lifetime.<\/p>\n

I was thinking I\u2019m not so smart.<\/p>\n

I wouldn\u2019t have this broken heart.<\/p>\n

If I only stopped it at the right time.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

She came on like a burst of fresh air.<\/p>\n

The smell of Lavender in her hair.<\/p>\n

Something totally new to this shy guy.<\/p>\n

She woke up emotions deep inside.<\/p>\n

My heart went along for the ride.<\/p>\n

It melted when she called me \u201cMy guy.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Gradually, one thing led to another.<\/p>\n

Then I introduced her to my brother.<\/p>\n

Something I knew I shouldn\u2019t have done.<\/p>\n

It seems it was hardly any time<\/p>\n

she was saying that \u201cHe was mine.\u201d<\/p>\n

That put an end to me being \u2018the one.\u2019<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Brotherly love only goes so far.<\/p>\n

It was too late to raise the bar.<\/p>\n

He no longer comes around .<\/p>\n

If he did, I might just snap.<\/p>\n

Built up anger is where I\u2019m at.<\/p>\n

Brotherly love can no longer be found.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So, it\u2019s just an any old kind of day.<\/p>\n

The kind that comes & slips away.<\/p>\n

The kind that fills up easy my lifetime.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll suffer with a broken heart.<\/p>\n

The next time I will be smart.<\/p>\n
