\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Way Of The Wolf<\/strong><\/p>\n I saw her tracks there in the snow.<\/p>\n Into the woods, they did go.<\/p>\n I had been searching for an hour.<\/p>\n She was looking for a flower.<\/p>\n With the snow all flowers were gone.<\/p>\n Seeing her tracks, I followed on.<\/p>\n Up a slop and into the woods.<\/p>\n I sped\u00a0 up as best I could.<\/p>\n It was getting close to dark.<\/p>\n This was not a walk in the park.<\/p>\n I worried about the wolves.<\/p>\n Other predators in the woods.<\/p>\n I was ready to call her name.<\/p>\n From the side, the two of them came.<\/p>\n A great wolf with my daughter.<\/p>\n Like a lamb led to the slaughter.<\/p>\n Her arm around his neck she stood.<\/p>\n Walking along as best she could.<\/p>\n She looked half asleep.<\/p>\n She was barely on her feet.<\/p>\n The wolf stopped & stared at me.<\/p>\n I stood still as I could be.<\/p>\n The wolf moved forward slowly.<\/p>\n He was walking right toward me.<\/p>\n He stopped and pulled his head out.<\/p>\n Then pushed her forward with his snout.<\/p>\n She looked up a & yelled \u201cDaddy.\u201d<\/p>\n Then she came running to me.<\/p>\n I caught her up into my arms.<\/p>\n She said \u201cDoggie brought me to your arms.\u201d<\/p>\n I said \u201cThank you!.\u201d He whined & wagged his tail.<\/p>\n Then he turned & ran back up the trail.<\/p>\n She said \u201cWhere did he go?\u201d<\/p>\n I said \u201cI don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n As I looked toward the sky.<\/p>\n Tears were coming from my eyes.<\/p>\n \u201cThis much I\u2019m sure I know.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cJesus was telling him where to go.\u201d———-R.
