\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mormons & The Sabbath<\/strong><\/p>\n Someone knocked upon my door.<\/p>\n I checked my decency with what I wore.<\/p>\n I opened the door and I peeked out.<\/p>\n Two young men. Mormons without a doubt.<\/p>\n They asked me if I knew the Lord.<\/p>\n I said \u201cNo way\u201d cause I was bored.<\/p>\n They handed me a flyer from their church.<\/p>\n Told me about the meeting there first.<\/p>\n Asked me if I would consider coming.<\/p>\n I said \u201cit sounds like, maybe, a \u00a0fun thing.<\/p>\n Then I asked \u201cIs it on Saturday?\u201d<\/p>\n They said \u201cNo, it is on Sunday.\u201d<\/p>\n The door had been opened so off I went.<\/p>\n I unloaded it all till I was spent.<\/p>\n \u201cHow come it\u2019s not on the Sabbath?\u201d<\/p>\n They said \u201cIt is. Sunday is the Sabbath.\u201d<\/p>\n I said \u201cLast time I looked Sabbath was Saturday.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe calendar shows the 7th<\/sup> day is Saturday\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cJews keep Saturday as the Sabbath.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s the same day Jesus kept as Sabbath.\u2019<\/p>\n They told me about how it was changed.<\/p>\n I showed them \u2018the church\u2019 made the change.<\/p>\n Told them they are following the Catholic Church<\/p>\n \u2018The church\u2019 has the authority to make it work.<\/p>\n According to The Pope. God\u2019s man on earth.<\/p>\n I told them take it for what it\u2019s worth.<\/p>\n I asked for a scripture changing Sabbath to Sunday.<\/p>\n They couldn\u2019t produce even one to say.<\/p>\n By this time I saw some doubts.<\/p>\n The Holy Spirit was working it out.<\/p>\n Looks of confusion crossed their faces.<\/p>\n One bent down and tied his laces.<\/p>\n I said \u201cLook up the answer & we\u2019ll talk some more.\u201d<\/p>\n They never came back to knock at my door.<\/p>\n ——————————————————R.
