Bittersweet To The End<\/strong><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t snuggle up close by my side.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t kiss and massage my hide.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t say you\u2019ll always be there.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t run your fingers through my hair.<\/p>\n

Because in the morning you\u2019ll be gone.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll say that you have to run along.<\/p>\n

All will be like it never was.<\/p>\n

If I ask why you\u2019ll say \u201cJust because.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s happened so many times now.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s just routine to you somehow.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ve ripped my heart & tore it apart.<\/p>\n

Like you planned it from the start.<\/p>\n

You say you would never do that.<\/p>\n

How\u00a0 about the times you\u2019ve left me flat?<\/p>\n

To you I think it\u2019s all a game.<\/p>\n

To me it all seems so insane.<\/p>\n

Yet, I\u2019m insane to want you back.<\/p>\n

You act as if you haven\u2019t a care.<\/p>\n

You say you love me but, I declare.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s time for me to watch my heart.<\/p>\n

Cause you\u2019re about to tear it apart.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll be as sweet as you can be.<\/p>\n

Then, without a word you\u2019ll leave me.<\/p>\n

I do nothing to bring it on.<\/p>\n

I look around & then you\u2019re gone.<\/p>\n

My heart is a rubber ball kicked around.<\/p>\n

At your desire, I have found.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a limit to your touch.<\/p>\n

The emotional strain can make me snap.<\/p>\n

PTSD is similar to all this crap.<\/p>\n

I may snap and go berserk.<\/p>\n

I can only take so much hurt.<\/p>\n

When I snap you\u2019d best beware.<\/p>\n

By then I will no longer care.<\/p>\n

The nightmare will finally end then.<\/p>\n
