<\/p>\n
Only God Can Set You Free<\/strong><\/p>\n He was in a deep dark hole and he couldn\u2019t get out.<\/p>\n Terrible, screaming\u00a0 demons were all about.<\/p>\n A black tunnel loomed ahead.<\/p>\n Barely room to squeeze in his head.<\/p>\n There was a little more room once he was inside.<\/p>\n The walls were slimy and slick. Nowhere to hide.<\/p>\n He tried to run, run for his life.<\/p>\n Where were his kids?\u00a0 Where was his wife?<\/p>\n How did he ever get into this jam.<\/p>\n He was just your \u201caverage Joe\u201d\u00a0 man.<\/p>\n He taught philosophy at the local college.<\/p>\n He felt he had a well rounded knowledge.<\/p>\n That evening a student brought up evil & sin.<\/p>\n He said \u201cThere is no evil. It all comes from within.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAs far as that goes, it\u2019s the same with God.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBut, don\u2019t you believe in the devil or God?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThey are a crutch for man\u2019s inner fears.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cMan uses them to explain the world\u2019s tears\u201d<\/p>\n Students were shocked to hear such talk.<\/p>\n One of them told him that he should not mock.<\/p>\n He just laughed and said \u201cThey don\u2019t exist.\u201d<\/p>\n He looked to heaven and shook his fist.<\/p>\n On his way home that very night.<\/p>\n The sidewalk opened up and he fell from sight.<\/p>\n Now, he\u2019s in this nightmare pit.<\/p>\n Running and fearing this night would be it.<\/p>\n He dodged demons and horrible sights.<\/p>\n They all glowed though it was dark as night.<\/p>\n He screamed, he pleaded, he ran some more.<\/p>\n Nowhere was there an open door.<\/p>\n He could not find a way out of this hell.<\/p>\n Many times, he tripped and fell.<\/p>\n After, what seemed like hours,\u00a0 he hit a dead end.<\/p>\n Trapped with monsters & demons closing in.<\/p>\n He screamed \u201cGod save me\u201d without a thought.<\/p>\n Deep inside he knew what denial had brought.<\/p>\n Then he noticed light off to the side.<\/p>\n A very narrow crack where he might hide.<\/p>\n He squeezed in and it started to slope up.<\/p>\n He started crawling though it was very rough.<\/p>\n After a long climb he got out.<\/p>\n He was in front of his home. He gave a shout.<\/p>\n Falling to his knees,\u00a0 he prayed from within.<\/p>\n \u201cLord, forgive me for all of my sins.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI know I led those students\u00a0 astray.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cGive me one more chance, I pray.\u201d<\/p>\n After a long time, he got to his feet<\/p>\n The hole was no longer in the street.<\/p>\n He went home and told his wife.<\/p>\n Told her how he almost lost his life.<\/p>\n He told her how he got it back again.<\/p>\n He told her he no longer wanted to sin.<\/p>\n He told his class he was saved by grace.<\/p>\n They could tell by seeing his face.<\/p>\n He said \u201cThere is evil, demons, and sin.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThey have all been defeated, thanks to Him\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThere is only one way to overcome\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cLet Jesus save you.
