I\u2019ve Never Been In This Place Before<\/strong><\/p>\n I\u2019m older now and my hair is gray.<\/p>\n But, I still feel good enough to play.<\/p>\n I thought I had done it all.<\/p>\n Summer is over. Here comes the fall.<\/p>\n Then came the high school reunion.<\/p>\n Seeing old friends that I knew then.<\/p>\n Then\u00a0 from out of the blue<\/p>\n I got\u00a0 an E-Mail from a girl I once knew.<\/p>\n She was so happy to have seen me<\/p>\n at the high school reunion party.<\/p>\n We started E mailing each other.<\/p>\n I was shocked to discover<\/p>\n she had a crush on me in school.<\/p>\n I tell you I didn\u2019t have a clue.<\/p>\n We talked more and I found<\/p>\n this girl only lived right across town.<\/p>\n We both were single at this time.<\/p>\n We both had bad times left behind.<\/p>\n Things progressed then came the call.<\/p>\n We were talking and having a ball.<\/p>\n The time came when we would meet.<\/p>\n I was giddy as a dog in heat.<\/p>\n She had me feeling like a kid.<\/p>\n I knew my feelings were not well hid.<\/p>\n Was there fire in the heart after all these years?<\/p>\n There was a little fear but, there were no tears.<\/p>\n Will this take me where I\u2019ve never been before?<\/p>\n Or, will I\u00a0 be too scared to knock on her door?<\/p>\n I\u2019ve never been in this place before.<\/p>\n It\u2019s got me shaking to my very core.<\/p>\n Come on honey.—- Open that door.———R.
