She Is Gone<\/p>\n
She is gone!!<\/p>\n
Time passes slowly in my meaningless, \u00a0empty world.<\/p>\n
I succumb to the exhausting fog of depression.<\/p>\n
The walls close in on me as I lay curled<\/p>\n
into a fetal position. \u00a0Looking dead with my pale complexion.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
She is gone!!<\/p>\n
I am unable to move. I cannot face the light of day.<\/p>\n
I can neither eat nor sleep. My body plagued with rigor.<\/p>\n
They have found me . I wish they would leave me alone I pray.<\/p>\n
My physical body has shriveled. it has lost its vim & vigor.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
She is gone!!<\/p>\n
My mind is as dark as the soul of Satan.<\/p>\n
No light shines in. I am closed as tight as a clam.<\/p>\n
They try to awaken me with the smell of bacon.<\/p>\n
But, I don\u2019t respond to the smell of eggs nor ham.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
She is gone!!<\/p>\n
Soon, I imagine, I will be following her.<\/p>\n
I have no desire to remain on this cruel earth.<\/p>\n
Then, somehow , a new thought occurs.<\/p>\n
Exactly where did she go? What is it worth?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
She is gone!!<\/p>\n
Maybe she went in the wrong direction?<\/p>\n
it suddenly didn\u2019t seem worth dying to find out.<\/p>\n
Will she be in the resurrection?<\/p>\n
I need to find out what it\u2019s all about.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
She is gone!!<\/p>\n
But, I am not leaving here yet.<\/p>\n
The Lord has work for me.<\/p>\n
I pray I will see her. I have my mind set.<\/p>\n
Until then, the Lord is all I see.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
She is gone!!<\/p>\n
Others ask how I can cope with it so well?<\/p>\n
I say \u201cshe stepped into tomorrow & awaits there.<\/p>\n
I leave it all in the Lord\u2019s hands to tell.<\/p>\n
In the meantime, I walk with my cross to bear.\u201d<\/p>\n
