I came into town with a back pack on my shoulders<\/p>\n

and a pocket full of stories that I just had to tell.<\/p>\n

You know I\u2019ve knocked\u00a0 around a bit<\/p>\n

and had my share of small town glories.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s time to hit the city<\/p>\n

and that crazy carousel.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been thinking now for so long.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m tired of\u00a0 going nowhere but,<\/p>\n

I just keep moving on.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Till you brought your Sunday morning sunshine<\/p>\n

Here into my Monday morning rain.<\/p>\n

You gave me happiness just one time.<\/p>\n

It\u00a0 keeps on coming back again and again.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You know when your heart is nowhere.<\/p>\n

Then you\u2019ve got no place called home.<\/p>\n

So you keep on searching for somewhere.<\/p>\n

Yet, you\u2019re still just all alone.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s time to lay my feet down,<\/p>\n

away from Lonely Street.<\/p>\n

New adventures are somewhere.<\/p>\n

As From day to day I see.<\/p>\n

All the people going nowhere.<\/p>\n

But, anywhere\u2019s\u00a0 a better place to be.<\/p>\n

Here into my Monday morning rain.<\/p>\n

You brought me happiness just one time.<\/p>\n

It keeps on coming back again and again.<\/p>\n

These roads were never my roads<\/p>\n

These highways and\u00a0 the byways.<\/p>\n

They were just a way for me<\/p>\n

to drift from town to town.<\/p>\n

I never thought\u00a0 I\u2019d find<\/p>\n

someone who could love me.<\/p>\n

Till finally you were found.<\/p>\n

I thought I\u2019d drift forever<\/p>\n

In my anguish and my leathers.<\/p>\n

Always moving on\u00a0 but, really nowhere bound.<\/p>\n
