\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Born Again<\/strong><\/p>\n

It comes back to me once more.<\/p>\n

That horrible night I will never forget.<\/p>\n

I went running for the door.<\/p>\n

From the worst sight I\u2019ve seen yet.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I have lived on the edge of twilight.<\/p>\n

Staying in the shadows and the dark.<\/p>\n

Sometimes I run with all my might.<\/p>\n

Like sinners chasing after the ark.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I don\u2019t have any close friends.<\/p>\n

I walk on the dark side of the road.<\/p>\n

Fear and paranoia never ends.<\/p>\n

I feel my heart has grown cold.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Late one night I was passing a church.<\/p>\n

The door was open and a voice came out.<\/p>\n

I immediately stopped with a lurch.<\/p>\n

He was praying and crying out.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cLord, protect me from the demons \u201c<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are trying to kill me.\u201d<\/p>\n

He must be praying for me then.<\/p>\n

That is what has happened to me.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I went to the door and dared to peek in.<\/p>\n

It was one man asking for forgiveness.<\/p>\n

He looked up and saw my sin.<\/p>\n

I looked drawn and listless.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201dFriend, you look as if you could use some prayer.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCome join me here on my knees.\u201d<\/p>\n

Next thing I knew I was kneeling there.<\/p>\n

He started praying saying \u201cPlease Lord, please.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cLord, I know your judgment is fair.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOpen up this man\u2019s eyes so he can see.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLead him to repent. I know You care.\u201d<\/p>\n

His prayer for forgiveness was meant for me.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Soon, I was asking forgiveness for my sins.<\/p>\n

I told Him all. Nothing left to say.<\/p>\n

I arose feeling free of my sins.<\/p>\n

A great peace came my way.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The first time, after many years,<\/p>\n

I found the Lord & he loved me.<\/p>\n

Soon I was a fountain of tears.<\/p>\n

I had found salvation , you see.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

My life was different after that.<\/p>\n

I could walk in the sun with my head up.<\/p>\n

I was a Son of God. Imagine that.<\/p>\n

I was finally out of that rut.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

From that day on I praised the Lord.<\/p>\n

He gave me a new heart and life.<\/p>\n

He never lets me get bored.<\/p>\n

He gave me life and a loving wife.<\/p>\n
