\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Private World<\/strong><\/p>\n Everything was black.<\/p>\n There was no sight.<\/p>\n There was no crap!<\/p>\n No emotions.<\/p>\n No feeling at all.<\/p>\n No commotions.<\/p>\n He was locked away.<\/p>\n Deep in his mind.<\/p>\n He had nothing to say.<\/p>\n To be left alone<\/p>\n was all he wanted.<\/p>\n He didn\u2019t even moan.<\/p>\n He was drawn and gaunt.<\/p>\n His face was a mask.<\/p>\n No emotions there.<\/p>\n He wouldn\u2019t last.<\/p>\n Death was drawing near.<\/p>\n Then,— she came.<\/p>\n A sweet smell he noticed first.<\/p>\n A gentle touch.<\/p>\n Others just made it worse.<\/p>\n As time passed,<\/p>\n He started to hear her voice.<\/p>\n Finally,— at last.<\/p>\n He had to look and see.<\/p>\n She was beautiful.<\/p>\n She was gentle and kind.<\/p>\n She trimmed his cuticles.<\/p>\n She washed his feet.<\/p>\n As he grew stronger,<\/p>\n She helped him to eat.<\/p>\n She was an angel to him.<\/p>\n She gave him hope.<\/p>\n Her heart he wanted to win.<\/p>\n So, one day, he actually spoke.<\/p>\n He told her he loved her.<\/p>\n He wanted her for his own.<\/p>\n She said what he didn\u2019t want to hear.<\/p>\n \u201cI am only your nurse.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI am married to another.\u201d<\/p>\n It—it couldn\u2019t be any worse!!<\/p>\n The black came slamming in.<\/p>\n He slipped back into his shell.<\/p>\n He would let no one in.<\/p>\n He would die first.<\/p>\n He was safe here from all pain.<\/p>\n The Dr. told the nurse:<\/p>\n \u201cI think it\u2019s all in vain\u201d<\/p>\n He is going——-going———-going—————gone!!<\/p>\n —————————————————–R.
