I felt the cold of icy, white water<\/p>\n

come flowing over as it pulled me down.<\/p>\n

I saw my hand reaching out of the water<\/p>\n

and grab a branch hanging low to the ground.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Flow white water.<\/p>\n

Flow over me.<\/p>\n

Take me down ,<\/p>\n

then, out to the sea.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I heard you calling as I went running.<\/p>\n

I should have waited by the streetlamp post.<\/p>\n

But, in the moonlight, I went hunting.<\/p>\n

Breath blowing white, like a ghost.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Flow white water.<\/p>\n

Flow over me.<\/p>\n

Take me down,<\/p>\n

Then, out to the sea.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Into the calm and clear,<\/p>\n

you ran, coming through the mists.<\/p>\n

I can feel you near.<\/p>\n

Straining to hear through the waters hiss.<\/p>\n

The dogwoods on the banks<\/p>\n

Glowing in the gloom.<\/p>\n

On every naked branch,<\/p>\n

a beautiful white bloom.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Flow white water.<\/p>\n

Flow over me.<\/p>\n

Take me down.<\/p>\n

Then, out to the sea.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I see you running in the tall wild grasses.<\/p>\n

Your body floating in the frosty air.<\/p>\n

Young and free, coming to the river rapids.<\/p>\n

Your hands, now reaching , yelling that you care.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Flow white water, flow.<\/p>\n

Right on by.<\/p>\n

Flow white water, flow.<\/p>\n

Leave me high and dry.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Your there holding and cuddling me.<\/p>\n

Whispering sweet nothings in my ear.<\/p>\n

Doing your best to try and reach me.<\/p>\n

Suddenly, I felt no fear.<\/p>\n

Why I ran, had now departed.<\/p>\n

I had no clue to why it was.<\/p>\n

I know you are where my heart is.<\/p>\n

Snug and warm and loved.<\/p>\n
