\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A Fairy Tale<\/strong><\/p>\n

I was walking down a country road.<\/p>\n

Twilight was lengthening the shadows.<\/p>\n

I heard the croaking of the toads.<\/p>\n

I saw the nearby cattle.<\/p>\n

Suddenly, I heard a cry!!<\/p>\n

It came from somewhere in the woods.<\/p>\n

Darkened trees flashed by my eyes,<\/p>\n

as I ran as fast as I could.<\/p>\n

Down the road, I reached the spot<\/p>\n

from where the cry had come.<\/p>\n

I started into the wooded lot,<\/p>\n

at a creep and not a run.<\/p>\n

Soon, I reached a waterfall.<\/p>\n

There was moonlight shining down.<\/p>\n

I moved closer at a crawl.<\/p>\n

Careful not to make a sound.<\/p>\n

Below the falls there was a pool.<\/p>\n

From there I heard the voices.<\/p>\n

At first I thought it wasn\u2019t true.<\/p>\n

But, there were no other choices.<\/p>\n

There were fairies, small with wings.<\/p>\n

They were sitting & playing in the water.<\/p>\n

Many laughed while others would sing.<\/p>\n

Still others, splashed around like otters.<\/p>\n

I felt a magical peace of mind<\/p>\n

watching the fairies in the moonlight.<\/p>\n

Who would believe there exists their kind?<\/p>\n

I had a feeling it was only right.<\/p>\n

Suddenly, I had to sneeze.<\/p>\n

The fairies all froze and looked.<\/p>\n

I fell down upon my knees.<\/p>\n

Not a ripple stirred within the brook.<\/p>\n

Then, all the fairies took to the air.<\/p>\n

They flew off into the night.<\/p>\n

All that I could do, was stare<\/p>\n

into the shimmering moonlight.<\/p>\n

To this day, I still believe,<\/p>\n

what took place that moonlit night.<\/p>\n

The fairies I saw could not deceive,<\/p>\n

even though they took to flight.<\/p>\n

So, if you know a secluded spot to go<\/p>\n

with lots of water around.<\/p>\n

Go there when the moon is full<\/p>\n
