\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 No Where Too Isolated For God<\/strong><\/p>\n He was talking of his travels to the Misty Mountains.<\/p>\n He said a better name would be the Mystic Mountains.<\/p>\n The group of 4 took 3 days to reach the mountains.<\/p>\n Everything was shrouded in mist and fog.<\/p>\n You had to watch your step or trip on a log.<\/p>\n Worse yet, you could step into a bog.<\/p>\n It was a slow, difficult, arduous climb.<\/p>\n Along the way we were grabbing every vine.<\/p>\n I grabbed something slick. Your arm or mine?<\/p>\n It was a snake which I flung away with haste.<\/p>\n After that I tried to set a faster pace.<\/p>\n But, had to slow down. Branches hit me in the face.<\/p>\n After five days and nights of terror,<\/p>\n we reached the summit. We think we were there.<\/p>\n Couldn\u2019t see anything yet. We could just stare.<\/p>\n Every direction seemed to be down.<\/p>\n I picked dead ahead, with a frown.<\/p>\n So, down the other side we were bound.<\/p>\n We had another 5 days of treacherous stuff.<\/p>\n We were almost ready to say we had had enough.<\/p>\n This trip was turning out to be mighty rough.<\/p>\n Then, the misty fog started thinning out.<\/p>\n We could see a few feet as we looked about.<\/p>\n I saw a fish in a brook I thought was a trout.<\/p>\n Then, \u00a0the fog cleared and below us was a mystical land.<\/p>\n Beautiful, green, wooded, meadows, lakes, & sand.<\/p>\n Rivers, rolling gentle hills. It looked really grand.<\/p>\n We descended down into the valley. It was a steep climb.<\/p>\n This valley \u00a0really seemed to be isolated in time.<\/p>\n The thought of dinosaurs came to mind.<\/p>\n On the valley floor there was a trail.<\/p>\n It led by a waterfall , where we saw some quail.<\/p>\n It led along a river then over a dale.<\/p>\n Then it led into the woods.<\/p>\n We followed the trail as best we could.<\/p>\n We didn\u2019t stop, though we knew we should.<\/p>\n Suddenly, up ahead, we heard a sound.<\/p>\n It sounded like people. Could there be a town?<\/p>\n Then, there were children all around.<\/p>\n Sun tanned little faces looked up at us.<\/p>\n They weren\u2019t afraid. they seemed to trust.<\/p>\n One looked shocked when one of us cussed.<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re not angels to talk like that\u201d<\/p>\n The man turned red . Said: \u201cSorry about that.\u201d<\/p>\n We all followed the kids to a near by shack.<\/p>\n A man came out holding a Bible.<\/p>\n He said \u201cWell, hello there. I\u2019m pastor Lible.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cDon\u2019t worry. The kids follow me everywhere I go.\u201d<\/p>\n We learned the valley was totally cut off from outside.<\/p>\n He said \u201cI saw smoke here when I went on a plane ride\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI decided to check it out for myself.\u2019 he sighed.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been here 10 years now. Everyone is converted.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t realize how strong God\u2019s word is.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNow, all these people are surely His.\u201d<\/p>\n We realized no matter how isolated a place is.<\/p>\n God\u2019s word will show all how His grace is.<\/p>\n God finds a way to reach all His faces.<\/p>\n ——————————————————R.
