\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Halloween Haunting<\/strong><\/p>\n Day after day<\/p>\n I passed by the Vineyard Country Inn.<\/p>\n I cannot say<\/p>\n what\u00a0 it was that made me stop in.<\/p>\n This Inn was old.<\/p>\n It had been deserted for years.<\/p>\n Today, I felt bold.<\/p>\n Probably courage helped by a few beers.<\/p>\n As I drew near<\/p>\n the Inn itself seemed to coax me on.<\/p>\n With a hint of fear<\/p>\n I felt like turning & \u2018color me gone\u2019.<\/p>\n But, I went on.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I stepped on the porch and heard a squeal.<\/p>\n I stopped still.<\/p>\n I was ready to spin on my heel.<\/p>\n I had no will.<\/p>\n Then, I saw the step made the squeal.<\/p>\n I tried the door.<\/p>\n With a shudder it opened with a squeal.<\/p>\n There, on the floor.<\/p>\n Was odd looking tracks as if made by a wheel.<\/p>\n A mystery to see.<\/p>\n Like made by a unicycle rode by a clown.<\/p>\n What could it be?<\/p>\n There was no sign of anyone around.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Should I go in?<\/p>\n Should I leave this place, never to return?<\/p>\n Curiosity won again.<\/p>\n My desire to solve this mystery burned.<\/p>\n I go inside.<\/p>\n The single wheel track goes to the left.<\/p>\n Stepping with pride,<\/p>\n I follow the trail that might lead to death.<\/p>\n Near the wall<\/p>\n I find a deep dish pizza pan upside down.<\/p>\n But, that\u2019s not all.<\/p>\n The pan said: PIZZA HUT\u00a0 We deliver all over town.<\/p>\n —————————————————–R.
