I took a trip on a sailing ship.<\/p>\n

We sailed into a mysterious fog.<\/p>\n

The captain didn\u2019t\u00a0 give any lip.<\/p>\n

He wrote it all in his captain\u2019s log.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When we emerged all had changed.<\/p>\n

We didn\u2019t know where we were.<\/p>\n

Our compass readings had rearranged.<\/p>\n

How in the world had this occurred?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Then we saw it. We didn\u2019t believe it.<\/p>\n

Sea monsters in the water below.<\/p>\n

A rock ahead with sirens on it.<\/p>\n

Mermaids swimming around real slow.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

An island just a half league ahead.<\/p>\n

A nice harbor to dock the ship.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis place is spooky\u201d was said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll go ashore & explore it.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Once on land all seemed quiet.<\/p>\n

Only the splashing of the waves.<\/p>\n

Then, what sounded like a riot,<\/p>\n

coming from the jungle maze.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We went to see what was going on.<\/p>\n

In a clearing stood a Tyrannosaurs Rex.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat is this we\u2019ve come upon?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat? Dinosaurs? What the heck?\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He was eating on a fresh kill.<\/p>\n

Birds were squawking all around.<\/p>\n

He didn\u2019t notice us. We stood still.<\/p>\n

Then, something else we found.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A giant egg hidden in the weeds.<\/p>\n

Could it be a dinosaur egg?<\/p>\n

Then we saw who the mother must be.<\/p>\n

A \u00a0Pterodactyl with extended legs<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

swooped down & grabbed the egg, you see.<\/p>\n

We dove for cover real fast.<\/p>\n

It flew away up over the trees.<\/p>\n

We cautiously crawled out of the grass.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We saw unicorns and fairies too.<\/p>\n

We expected to see Bigfoot anytime.<\/p>\n

Instead, we saw King Kong, then we knew.<\/p>\n

All weird tales or nursery rhymes<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

existed here. It blew our minds.<\/p>\n

This was like a Twilight Zone.<\/p>\n

We had to get out of here in time.<\/p>\n

The thought of being trapped made us groan.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We got back to the ship as fast as we could.<\/p>\n

We headed back toward the fog..<\/p>\n

None of us really understood.<\/p>\n

But, the captain wrote it all in his log.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Once through the fog again<\/p>\n

we were back on our course.<\/p>\n

None of us knew where to begin.<\/p>\n

We would keep quiet with no remorse.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

To talk of it would label you a nut.<\/p>\n

No one would want to have such glory.<\/p>\n

But, we each knew the truth deep in our gut.<\/p>\n
